There's plenty going on in Penmaenmawr. From weekly Rainbow and Brownie meets to our annual Light up Pen. Our aim is to list as many community events and activities as we can. Let us know if you would like to add your event or community activity.

Order and collect library books during Covid-19. Our libraries are currently closed for regular use at the moment, you can order and collect books or have a staff select your books if you are a library member.

Painted Pebbles Project

The Town Council is launching the Painted Pebbles Project, this project is a community project where we would like people to paint a stone which reflects 2020, the NHS, Covid-19, the Beach, Poppies, anything people feel represents 2020, some of these stones will then be set in a resin heart and this will be displayed in the town.

Available to hire for small groups 6 people in keeping with covid rules.

Hand sanitizer on entry available and hand washing gels in W/Cs. All equipment sterilized after ever use.

Please note we have no cooking facilities but there is a small kitchen with fridge for use of users food and refreshments.

Our costs of hiring is kept low because we cannot offer cooking facilities thus keeping our insurance at the acceptable level for our income. Great little centre for people not wishing to spend too much on hiring.

Our Call & Collect service is now available from Penmaenmawr Library making our library stock available in the safest possible way.

You will be able to complete an online form or call us on 01492 576139 with your reading choices.

You can return your books in the drop boxes available outside the library on Thursday and Friday 10-12.

There are no fines.

It is expected that the computer service will be re-instated within the next few weeks, once measures to ensure social spacing have been introduced.
