There's plenty going on in Penmaenmawr. From weekly Rainbow and Brownie meets to our annual Light up Pen. Our aim is to list as many community events and activities as we can. Let us know if you would like to add your event or community activity.

Our winter lecture series starts soon!

We have a great line-up of speakers for 2019/2020. If you are interested in coming along to one of the lectures, entry is £3.00 and you can turn up on the night.

Interested in more than one lecture? If you become a member of the museum, entry to all 6 lectures is free.

Penmaenmawr Museum Lecture Series

Easy paced run on part of the route this Sunday morning at 10.30 am from Capelulo Village Hall, Dwygyfylchi (GR SH 744764) Fairy Glen Road, Capelulo, Penmaenmawr, LL34 6YU.

These runs are aimed at those who are less experienced or who are new to fell running.

The pace will be easy with no pressure to keep up, we will go at the pace of the slowest runner. The emphasis being on extending the run to cover the whole route over a few weeks.

Penmaenmawr Young Promoters bring a puppet show to their local community

Children from years 5 and 6 from Ysgol Pencae Penmaenmawr are busy this term preparing for a special evening in their school on the 21st of November at 6pm when Half a String theatre company from Kent will be performing a fun filled puppet show called 'Under the Frozen Moon' at the school hall.

The Ysgol Pencae youngsters are helped in their work by Rhian Cadwaladr from the Welsh Arts Council's Night Out scheme.

"We have been planning this show for the last few weeks. We have got tickets and made posters to advertise the show," said 9 year old Leah.

"It will be an amazing puppet show for all the family and everyone that comes will enjoy it," said Holly, aged 10.

Madeline, aged 10, said "I'm really excited about this show and hope lots of people will come because we have worked really hard."

Children from Ysgol Pencae and Capelulo School will again be invited to place their Christmas Wishes on the Wish Tree (outside the Penmaenmawr Library).

They will be entertained by Kim the Entertainer and received light refreshments.

These skips are for those larger household items that you dispose of on an occasional basis.
Please respect the rules of the skips and DO NOT leave waste if skips are full or before they arrive. Staff will be on hand to assist.

The skip will arrive between 8.30 and 9am and be removed at 11 or when the skip is full, whichever sooner.
